Fair Orchids

I use my camera freely, and have a large collection of orchid, day lily and many other  plant photos, as well as animal & historical location photos.  Many photos were taken at orchid shows and conferences, where I have limited control over the background; so please enjoy the flowers, and ignore the photo 'quality'.  At the Slipper Orchid Forum, held at the National Arboretum in DC, the lighting is particularly atrocious.

If you are looking for a photo of something specific, do not hesitate to ask (but please mention the intended use).  I will be happy to share these photos for use in articles, presentations and similar educational material.

Prints are available of some of my better efforts, some of which are shown here.  All are available in 5x7 and 8x10 sizes, either plain or matted.  Selected items can be made available in 11x14 and 16x20 sizes also, though un-matted only.

The green iguana comes in many different colors, including red and orange.  This gentleman was sunning himself in a tree, just outside one of the guest villas at Villa Almendros in St. Theresa.

A troop of howler monkeys came through the garden at Villas Almendros, and couldn't care less about their distant cousins running around with cameras.

A rough-legged hawk resting in a tree in the Great Swamp refuge.

It was a windy day, and you can see individual feathers on the back of the bird beeing ruffled by the wind.
